AN Assemblies of God (AOG) church pastor is urging those working in church organisations to fully use their talents in order to succeed.
First Sunrise AOG Maprik church pastor Benjamin Silingin said the clergy needed to maximise their talents in order to better serve the people.
“If you want to succeed, you have to use your talents to the fullest,” he said.
“The secret of getting ahead is getting started; today a reader, and tomorrow a leader.”
Benjamin said this as a pioneer in the programme when he graduated with a Bachelor of Education in school management on Friday at the University of Goroka’s Institute of Distance and Flexible Learning Maprik study centre in East Sepik.
His organisation’s requirement challenged him to have enrolled in the programme.
Benjamin graduated with three teachers Noel Nahambir, Alfred Gai, and Stanley Micah.
