Appointment of judge praised

WE the people of Wewak district are humbled that one of our fine young elite has been appointed as a judge.
On behalf of the people, I want to extend a word of thanks to the Government for recognising a young Sepik man and making him a judge.
Dr Vergil Narokobi was appointed as a judge in the National and Supreme Courts last December.
We are proud of young Narokobi whose father, the late Bernard Narokobi, was a lawyer from Wewak district.
