LITEHAUS International a non-government organisation from Australia donated 15 desktop computers, a projector and installed internet connection to a primary school in Jiwaka on Thursday.
Students attending Pugemi Primary at Kindeng in the Anglimp– South Waghi electorate were the proud recipients of the computers.
The computers were presented to the school by LiteHaus International PNG country director Peter Raim.
Raim said these computers will promote quality learning.
He said these days, learning computers is a requirement for the students in order to compete with the rest of the country and the world as well.
He said LiteHaus International has also donated the same to many schools in Western Highlands, Jiwaka and parts of Hela. Raim said the transport cost for these computers to reach Pugemi from Australia was met by Deloitte, a United States based company.
He said previous donations to other schools, Brian Bell Foundation met the cost of transport.
“I want to thank these two companies Deloitte and Brian Bell for helping to deliver computers to the schools.”
