Bank account service fee too high

I HAVE noticed that the BSP Bank is deducting on average about K25 every month, including the monthly account service fee of K3 as advised by the bank. I inquired at the bank and they told me that the balance of the deductions were SMS banking fees for using the SMS banking service. On average, I use the service about twice a month during fortnights to check my balance and send money to my family at home while I am away from home. This shows that each SMS transaction cost K5. After numerous unsuccessful attempts to get the correct SMS banking service fee from BSP personnel, I am writing to you because I believe other customers are also questioning this fee. If the fee is set at K5, then I think this is unfair to the customers.
