Be fair to service providers in EHP

Letters

SINCE the world was hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, relief funding has been allocated to countries to combat the spread of the virus.
Donors have given help to developing countries to strengthen their healthcare systems and economies.
Papua New Guinea received this help as well.
I don’t know why the Eastern Highlands government is not assisting businesses that are serving the people in the rural parts of the province.
North Coast Aviation has been serving the rural Eastern Highlands people before Independence.
Can someone in the Eastern Highlands government explain why we are not receiving our assistance.
We’ve given our submission last year.
North Coast Aviation is helping people in the rural areas even when there’s no incentives from the provincial government to subsidise coffee, cocoa and other cash crops.
There are many rural airstrips in Eastern Highlands such as the one in Lufa.
The road stops at Ubagubi and there are nine airstrips beyond this point.
Can the provincial government tell us why our submission was not acknowledged since last December?
Please be fair.
