K2.7mil for Tvet
MENDI-MUNIHU MP Michael Nali says the Kuma Technical and Vocational Education and Training in Upper Mendi was commissioned last month at a cost of K2.7 million. “Tvet institutions are the solution to addressing the issue of unemployment in the county,” he said.
Unitech gets fire truck
A FIRE truck donated by the Japanese embassy to the University of Technology in Lae last week was described as a “valuable contribution” by vice-chancellor Dr Ora Renagi. Renagi said the university had lost people in the past from medical complications and had also lost two buildings from a fire.
