Budget is a step forward

Letters

WITH the help of his ministers and legal and economic advisers, we can now see the Government’s “noble economic wealthy” vision taking shape under Prime Minister James Marape.
I fully support the 2022 National Budget now passed and we must work together to contribute funds to finance the budget and move forward.
Faith without actions is dead, as the scripture says, and word without action is poverty.
I am calling on all Christian citizens of this country to see, think, and speak positive as our PM has prophesied in his address to the nation, and I agree and support him completely and declare we will be and we are truly wealthy and rich. For the Government’s decision to review the new tax and levy law is a wise decision for our citizens, investors and the nation.
I can see that there is a way we can help get that tax and levy components as introduced by the Government and finance the 2022 Budget because it has been included.
Our strength, we will find, is God alone.
We only need to have good management, political will, visionary and productive citizens, a God-fearing Prime Minister, ministers and work force or human resource.
I can see that one day, Papua New Guinea will be a “giver” to the region and world not a “taker” or “borrower”.
We have to educate our citizens to respect and love God and other people and we must learn how to give and understand that whatever we give will be given back to us.
Papua New Guinea is indeed the richest black nation with our natural resources worth trillions of Kina.
I commend the Government for passing the 2022 National Budget in which the country can now enjoy the Government’s “noble economic wealthy” vision.
