Call for development

Letters

WE the people of Sugu Valley in Kagua Erave District support the call made by Paramount Chief David Lora that Kagua Erave has gone backwards over the decades instead of developing.
Police officers at Kagua Station use phone torchlights to write OB (observation book) reports and receive complaints in the night.
In this modern age of the present information technology revolution era, some parts of PNG have not yet gone through an era of industrial revolution that could enhance development.
Like Kagua Erave where we still remember that some years after independence, our stations were well lite with electricity and transportation was varied.
Elites including the MP should wake up to these facts and start delivering service like it was in the bygone days.
People are fed up with sweet talkers who say one thing on the campaign trail and go into hiding after the election.
We the people demand the service which is rightfully ours to claim and the member for Kagua Erave should not be away from us at the district at every year but must come to our small villages and hamlets bringing real development like electricity so that we develop and keep abreast with the rest of the world.
This is the voice of the sugu valley people in support of our chief.
