Calling for justice to be served

Letters

LAST month some drunk youths attacked a community from Baimuru in Gulf living at Sabama over sorcery allegations.
The attack happened right in front of the so-called Sabama community police station at Sabama market but nothing was done to stop it.
None of the community police officers called for assistance even though there were means of communication available.
We call for an investigation into those that were on duty.
We call on Moresby South MP Justin Tkatchenko to ensure these officers face the law.
Two innocent people were affected.
One died and the other is still recovering at Kirakira village.
Tkatchenko, it is almost a month since I forwarded a letter to your office for assistance in medical, food on and bus fare for criminal investigation division court witnesses.
Maybe, your middle man has failed us.
I need your assistance.
On behalf of the Kirakira Motu Koitabu and Kaimare tribe of Baimuru, we commend the commander of police’s special services division unit Samuel Gomoro for his quick response to my wife’s phone call that saved my life.
I was stripped naked and my legs were tied with wire.
After torturing me, they put firewood and stones to burn me when Gomora came to my rescue.
He saved me at the same spot where they killed an old woman.
Thank you for your action.
