Chicken and chips? KJC restaurant is the place for you

CHICKEN and chips lovers in Goroka town now have a great opportunity to enjoy tasty and chicken and chips with drinks following the opening of a new KJC fast food restaurant.
The restaurant operates equally as Big Rooster in other centres around PNG, giving customers good value for their money to enjoy not only roast chicken with chips but other meals too, says owner William Weng.
He said KJC operates under the Goroka Family Mart opposite the Bena bus stop, next to the BSP bank and Hot Spot and Istana Supermarkets.
It is a central location where many shoppers and bankers meet to do business.
“We provide breakfast, lunch and dinner menus to all at the customer’s request and requirements,” Weng said.
“We even provide three family dinning function rooms all going at affordable prices.
“The shop is open to any class of people including village people coming to town to do business, it is not only for the working class and public servants.”
Weng said the restaurant also provides mobile catering services giving any organisation and families who cannot find time to prepare meals to order and have their food delivered to their respective venues or homes.
KJC fast food is the first to offer special family function rooms and mobile catering services in Goroka at affordable rates.
The restaurant is located at the ground floor. On the upper floor is a gift shop which opened on Monday this week.
Steven Weng is the operator in charge of the gift shop, supplying household items, gift items, stationery, furniture and other goods.
Weng said they sell items that customers find difficult to get in Goroka.
