Children should be in school, not on streets

Letters

CHILDREN today are doing what they are supposed to do when they are adults.
Children are doing street vending, selling betel nuts, cigarettes, and other things.
Some children become bag carriers or helping hands to adults who then pay them K1 or K2.
These children are supposed to be in the classroom learning.
They are supposed be with their parents.
What is causing these children to go out on the streets?
Can the Government look into this?
Our future does not look promising with this.
