PORT Moresby Suburban Rugby League clubs that fail to pay their K1,500 affiliation fee by tomorrow will be omitted from the competition, according to president James Paul.
He said several clubs had paid their affiliation fee while others were yet to do so.
Paul said payments would be confirmed by treasurer Thomas Mote.
“These clubs will be removed from this weekend’s draws,” he said.
“We can’t entertain clubs that do this (non-payment) every season.
“It is not a village or offseason league where you can relax the requirements.”
Mote said clubs that had paid their affiliation fee would remain in the competition.
He said the deadline for the K50 player registration fee was set for this weekend.
Mote warned all club executives to ensure payment of registration fees to avoid players being pulled out of matches.
