THE Kumul Petroleum National Soccer League (NSL) has called on clubs to register their interest to compete in the 2019-2020 season which kicks on Nov 16.
There will be men, women and conference competitions in the upcoming season and preference will be given to those franchise clubs who meet affiliation criteria.
“Clubs without ownership conflict must be incorporated as a company and be registered with the Investment Promotion Authority,” the NSL said in a statement.
“Clubs must either have their own venue or demonstrate their ability to obtain one within three years. Clubs must be able to meet financial commitments during the season.
“Clubs that have outstanding fees from last season need to pay in full, inclusive of the 2019/2020 season.” The expression-of-interest fees for the competitions are K10,000 (men) and K5,000 (women and conference). The affiliation fees are K80,000 (men), K10,000 (women) and K25,000 (conference).
“Non-refundable affiliation fees are payable before Nov 8 to the National Soccer League account No.1001174835 at Bank South Pacific Waigani,” the NSL said.
“Clubs failing to meet the deadline will be taken out of draw prior to commencement of the competition.”
Expression-of-interest guidelines are available at the NSL office located at the PNG Football Stadium or via email ([email protected] or [email protected]).
The NSL said it could be contacted on 3232591 or 76520983 for more information.
