Country’s education below par

IT has become clear that the standard of education in the country has dropped way below par.

Many parents are asking if teachers are of a good enough standard to ensure quality education for their children.

The  education inspection system has come to a halt and many school basically lack the knowledge to play the part of inspectors.

Where are the school inspectators to oversee teaching quality and standards?

Many teachers complain about getting fair reward for their sweat but it seems their cries fall on very deaf years.

I call on the Education Department and the National Research Institute to  thoroughly research  whether education in this country is meeting the people’s needs.
