Direct deposit to school accounts

HE first quarter 2022 tuition fee free (TFF) funds were paid promptly into respective school accounts from Waigani.
The schools across the country received the funds just in time to start the academic year.
It was really a relief after so many years of unfair distribution and complains. We are in the 21st Century but we still don’t understand why the Government gives the quarterly TFF funds in lump sums to the provincial education divisions of the decentralised provinces.
At the provincial level, the TFF funds have never been proportionately distributed to the schools.
Some schools did not receive anything while others received excessive amounts.
Direct disbursement of TFF into school accounts from Waigani was a great relief for schools.
Please continue paying schools their TFF funds from Waigani.
It was more effective and efficient.
