Do something about Covid-19 in Northern

Letters

THE rapid increase in the number of the Covid-19 cases every day is frightening and I am wondering why Oro health authority has not been doing anything about that.
While all of the other provinces are preparing to deal with the pandemic Oro health authority and the Northern administration are doing nothing as if the province is immune to the virus.
Can the Health Department go to the province and investigate them?
A lot of money and resources were sent to all provinces including Northern but until now, the health authority hasn’t established an isolation facility.
There are no Covid-19 tests in the province.
The provincial administrator, who I believe is the deputy provincial controller, has all the power to make decisions on what needs to be done in the province in terms of Covid-19 preparation, but he is silent.
Who is going to do it?
Do we have to wait until everyone gets infected with the Covid-19 and die before we start swabbing or building isolation facilities?
Remember, other provinces are more advanced in terms of infrastructure so they are able to manage the pandemic.
But for Northern, we are sitting on a time bomb.
When it explodes, the entire population in Northern will die from this deadly virus.
The ball is in your court now administrator and your health authority.
The provincial government need to pull their socks up and start preparing before anything happens.
