Eastern Highlands people fed-up of political infighting

I AM an Eastern Highlander living in Port Moresby and am becoming very concerned about the continuous infighting over the provincial administrator’s position.

In fact, all right-thinking Eastern Highlanders are ashamed about this political conflict created by the province’s national leaders and supported by their factions.

Eastern Highlands is achieving nothing and our people are really feeling the pinch of their self-centered and power-hungry struggle.

Our people are being denied access to basic services including health, and education because of this political and administrative impasse.

It is too late for the madam governor to resolve this issue because of the decision she made earlier.

If the National Executive Council and the courts ruled in favour of Solomon Tato then let it be.

Do not go beyond your duties, governor.

The impasse has resulted from her baseless appointment of another person and her continuous refusal to accept Tato as administrator.

Remember, we are all watching and you will harvest what you sow in the 2017 general elections.

God will choose new members to lead our beautiful and peaceful province.

The administrator’s post will remain but you will all exit the door without producing good results.
