Elders hail children for bringing crucifixion alive

THE Hanuabada United Church children’s ministry has been praised by their elders for the enactment of Jesus’ crucifixion on Good Friday to commemorate Easter.
The children, who come from the Laurabada side of the village, had pitched up their tents to camp out since last Tuesday in their ministry groups – Hohodae Children’s Ministry, Milk Children’s Ministry, Alpha Children’s Ministry and Agape Children’s Ministry, which were formed from their clan groups of Hohodae, Milk, Kwaradubuna, and Tubumaga respectively.
Lakani Toi Memorial Church deacon Anthony Daira said that over the years the drama used to be acted by youth groups, but this year, the children through their ministry groups, were given the chance dramatise it, which according to him, was done skilfully and satisfactorily.
A parent, Morea Guba, of the boy who played Jesus, said the play broke the hearts of many parents.
