Ex dean to file submission

THE former executive dean of the law school at the University of PNG, Prof Mange Matui has appeared for mention at the Waigani Committal Court.
His lawyer told the court that he would file submissions on sufficiency of evidence on Sept 6.
Matui, from Karau in Angoram, East Sepik, was charged with one count of abuse of office and one count of cyber harassment where he allegedly sent intimidating and harassing text messages to a female employee at UPNG.
Magistrate Cosmas Bidar adjourned the matter to Sept 6.
