KIRIWINA-Goodenough MP Douglas Tomuriesa has appeared for second mention at the Waigani Committal Court.
He was charged with one count of misappropriation, one count of false pretence and one count of money laundering where he was allegedly involved in misusing K6 million in public funds.
The funds were allocated to his company Quick Span Building Systems Ltd to renovate health workers’ homes in South Fly, Western, but were misused and the project was not completed.
Magistrate Cosmas Bidar adjourned the matter to Sept 26 for another mention.
