Expatriate robbed in ENB

AN expatriate living in East New Britain was robbed at gunpoint along the north coast of Gazelle district.
Police deputy assistant commissioner for New Guinea Islands Chief Superintendent Paul Kamuai said Tony Stout was with his three children when he was robbed of cash and goods worth K21,000.
Kamuai said they had driven into Lungalunga ward when an armed  gang held them up, ordered them out of the vehicle and drove away with their cash and other items.
Police briefs said Scott lost K11,000 in cash and K10,000 worth of items.
Stout and his children heading to board a boat.
Kamuai said police in Rabaul were alerted.
“Police responded immediately and recovered the abandoned vehicle at Raval village after the suspects ran off with the cash and some properties,” he said.
“I am pleased with the police in Rabaul for responding fast.”
Stout said the police were able to recover the vehicle and some properties.
