Explain new OC appointment

 Can someone update us on the appointment of a new Ombudsman? Seems like there is a prolonged silence on the new appointment and lately few MPs are being referred for misconduct in office. One similar case would be that of the MP from a Highlands electorate who decided to give roofing iron to married couples to build their houses. What an interesting case for the Ombudsman Commission to define if this is how services to people are to be provided?
