Family life put under microscope

Marriage and family are the building blocks of society, says David Vaka, of the Breakthrough Ministries International.
David Vaka, whom the church calls an apostle, and Pastor Tina Vaka, spoke to participants during a three-day marriage and family conference in Port Moresby last week.
They focused on how to build an unshakable foundation for marriage in these challenging times.
“You can trace the roots of chaos in a society back to the family and marriage,” David said.
Pastor Tina said that “when you fix a family, you fix a nation”.
The participants said the conference taught them a lot of new things that were eye-opening, inspiring and empowering.
Single people were glad to have attended the conference.
The conference discussed marriage, parenting and identifying cracks in the family foundation.
Another marriage and family conference will be held next year.
