Firm backs Gulf athletics

THE only supermarket at Malalaua station has pledged to back the Gulf Athletics Association’s participation at the Southern regional championships in Port Moresby in September.
Susan Chan, daughter of Shengtai Corporation Supermarket owner David Chan, told the association executives after a training camp at Malalaua early this month that the firm would provide uniforms and shoes for Gulf athletes taking part in the regional challenge.
