PORT Moresby Netball Association will hold their grand final day tomorrow, with teams from the Under-10 to division one to play their final matches on the indoor courts of the Rita Flynn Complex.
Twenty-two games will be played starting at 9.30am, culminating with the premier division final between Mermaids and Paramana at 4.30pm.
Mermaids shooter Jeperth Tulapi will be up against her Papua New Guinea Under-21 teammate Rowena Djengozov of Paramana.
Both rising stars of PNG netball have been in great form all season and the fortunes of their respective teams will be in their hands.
Other U21 reps include wing-attack Eloise Vele and wing-defence Carol Kanapoti for the Mermaids.
After a successful outing with the national U21 team, the Mermaids trio would be aiming to cap off the season with the POMNA title.
But they will have to contend with a formidable Paramana lineup boasting the likes of Gasi Moka, Shanna Dringo and Renagi Mulina.
On defence, Paramana have the experience of former national rep Ravu Raula to deal with.
Paramana head into the final feeling confident, having dispatched the Mermaids earlier in the playoffs 57-51.
Unfazed, the Mermaids dusted themselves off and rebounded, claiming a thrilling 47-40 win over Telstars mid-week.
Mermaids will be feeding off the momentum of their win on Tuesday and will be raring to go, while Paramana, having had an extra week off, are fresh and ready to give 100 per cent.
