Firm gives club new jerseys

LOCAL company Coffee Connections has renewed its sponsorship for West, with the presentation of a new set of uniforms to the Goroka Rugby League outfit.
Coffee Connections general manager George Anian handed over the new uniforms to head coach and former Lahanis forward George Abba on Aug 19.
Anian assured West officials and players that the company was committed to backing the club for the sixth straight year.
He said sports helped keep young people develop positive attitude.
Abba thanked the company for continuing its support for the club.
He said they would be ambassadors of the company and give their all in their remaining games.
“We will not let our sponsor down,” Abba said.
The Goroka Rugby League competition top-eight sides are Gama Bulls, CC West, ACM Brothers, FPD Brothers, Goroka United, CPL Norths, Western Blacks and Crusaders.
