THE Kerema Coronation Secondary School (KCSS) received new library books donated by a Digicel staff recently.
Digicel staff grant 3L (Live, Love, Learn) programme recipient Maria Morehari carried out the donation for her former high school.
“I wanted to give back to my former school and help the school to groom quality human resources in Gulf,” she said.
“I am fortunate to be a recipient of Digicel’s 3L programme and the fist thing that came to my mind was to contribute to KCSS.”
Morehari said the 3L staff grant programme was launched by Digicel Foundation PNG to help Digicel staff deliver projects.
“Every year, Digicel staff apply for the 3L programme initiative to carryout projects,” she said.
“Only 10 staff with the best proposal wins K5,000 to be donated depending on the type of project each staff is willing to give to their community.
“This is what we are doing here today to help forward the students and the school’s future.”
