Get Lo to play for Hunters

Letters

THE Queensland Intrust Cup is mostly made up of National Rugby League (NRL) players who when get injured or dropped for non-performance, resort to play in their feeder clubs to maintain their fitness level.
That is unlike the SP PNG Hunters where most players originate from Digicel Cup.
By regularly watching Hunters matches, one can tell that from the last few games, the Hunters games were hectic as most players they played against were from NRL.
Last weekend’s match against Souths Logan Magpies was a terrible one-sided affair as Magpies ran over Hunters players who were no match in terms of height, weight and speed and the level of intensity.
While the fans were happy for the recall of Isaac Gilbert and Jordan Pat, we strongly urge the coach and management to select Garry Lo, who is currently in form.
He recently returned from the United Kingdom.
Isaac Gilbert is not well at the moment.
The current Hunters wingers are no match to other Intrust Cup players.
Their wingers overpower ours.
Lo will show them how the game is played. The continued ignorance of Lo is based on favouritism and nepotism.
The management owes and explanation to the fans as to why Lo isn’t considered.
Every Intrust Cup team in Queensland field their NRL players, so why shouldn’t we get Lo into Hunters?
Lo is a lethal weapon for Hunters.
If they don’t do something, I doubt the Hunters making it into the top eight this year.

Unhappy Hunters Fan,
Pom
