THE Go-Tell Singing Ministry from Morata Two in Port Moresby recently visited Bomana Prison to share the message of Jesus’ salvation and His imminent return.
This Seventh-day Adventist Church ministry is a diverse group representing all parts of the country, has been a pillar of spiritual strength and musical inspiration.
According to a singing member of the ministry Samuel Pank: “For more than a decade, the ministry has been a steadfast presence, echoing the call to service found in Isaiah 6:8:
“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’
“And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me’.
“The recent visitation to Bomana prison church was a profound demonstration of God’s command to love our neighbours.
“This outreach is a beacon of light in a world that often overlooks the marginalised.
“It stands as a testament to the ministry’s belief in the power of God’s love to transcend all barriers.
“The Go-Tell Singing Ministry is not just a singing group, it is a ministry reaching out to the unreached and perishing world, bringing the message of God’s love to those who need it most.”
As they worshipped, witnessed and shared a meal together, they lived the words of Matthew 25:35-36:
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”
