Good on you, governor

I APPLAUD the move by Eastern Highlands Governor Peter Numu towards revamping the business arm of the provincial government – the Nokondi Investment Limited.
This is the first time for a provincial leader in the province to publicly tell the people that Nokondi Investment has failed to generate any revenue to support the province.
The people want to see things done and will support the governor with his plan.
The administration can support the effort of our governor by looking at revenue-generating functions already decentralised to the province under the Organic Law on provincial and local level government and have appropriate provincial policies and laws to enable the provincial government to generate more internal revenue for the province.
