More than 50 Christian professionals registered with the National Identification (NID) service at the weekend to dispel the fear of the programme attached to the biblical ‘666’ number.
Eric Haiara, secretary for Tertiary Students’ Christian Fellowship (TSCF) graduates’ network said they made a partnership with NID and Registry to roll out the registration to all regions. He said TSCF’s graduate network had more than 80,000 members throughout the country who would be registered under that partnership.
“All over the world people need to be registered for purposes of planning and development, funding and resource allocation,” Haiara said.
“PNG has no accurate database system. We can provide information through registration.
“We can tell our people to register themselves and provide the information to the Government.
“Our nation can be planned properly, based on the accurate number of students, the employed, the unemployed. The TSCF graduate’s network was created with the mission to connect graduates, inspire and empower them – spiritually, physically and mentally – to positively influence the nation’s development.
