Group calls for support

THE Pacifika Women Network (PWN) trade centre in Port Moresby resumed operations yesterday, according to a statement from the trade centre.
PWN stated that due to the Covid-19 state of emergency restrictions, it decided to close operations on March 24.
It was noted that most businesses operating from the centre were owned by women and when the SOE was imposed, the businesses were affected.
PWN, thus, called on the Government to support it as a leader in the small business sector supporting women and girls.
