Gulf woman wins K100,000

 GULF woman Joachina Lalori is K100,000 richer – thanks to Digicel’s ‘Great Easter Cash Giveaway’ promotion.  

Lalori was lost for words when she was announced the grand prize winner on Yumi FM radio last Saturday.

“This is a huge surprise for me,” she said. 

“All I did was make calls, send text messages and use the internet and I have been selected as the winner amongst other thousands of customers.” 

“I am still shocked about the news.

“But I would like to thank Digicel for this promotion and the give away grand prize. 

“My dream of doing further studies and investing in shares will now be a reality. 

“I can also send my daughter to school next year,” Lalori said.

Digicel public relations, sponsorship and events manager Jayleen Morris said the promotion required Digicel prepaid customers to keep their phones on for a chance to get into a daily draw to win K1,000 cash or make a call, send a text message or use the internet 

for a chance to win K5,000.   

Lalori is a single mother and lives at Vabukori, Port Moresby with her three-year-old daughter.

“Customers who made a call, sent a text message or used the internet within the duration of the promotion also qualified for the grand prize of K100,000 which was announced on Yumi FM on April 6,” Morris said.
