Health dept slammed

CAN the health secretary and health minister go to the national cancer treatment centre at Angau, in Lae, and see for themselves how their countrymen, women and children are suffering while they wait for radiation therapy treatment.
Patients are still waiting for an oncology doctor as had been promised by the Health Department.
Despite the Ministry of Health getting the biggest allocation of the national Budget, we are still seeing poor decision-making in the ministry.
There is definitely something wrong with the country’s health department.
