HOHOLA United face Tamaraws in the National Capital District Amateur Basketball Association men’s and women’s divisions at Hohola tomorrow.
On Sunday, Hohola United are up against the Gerehu Jets in a match seen as a must-win by both sides.
The Tamaraws have enough firepower to snatch victories in both divisions.
However, they should not underestimate their opposition.
The team from Hohola know what they are up against tomorrow.
The Tamaraws (formerly known as the Bucks) and Hohola United have introduced in their sides new talent, they are looking to develop.
Bernard Elavo, whose older brother Fred coaches Birdwings, is expected to help lead the Tamaraws.
The Elavos are still very much part of the competition, with Gabriel, Mary, Cindy Mary, Morea Jr and Harold Jr helping lead their sides in the competition.
The family tradition is the same with the Muris — Apia, Purari, Dia, Obert, Cornelius and Maka — as they continue developing their skills in the sport.
The competition in the men’s and women’s divisions is between the Southern Flames, Tamaraws, Elegant Spiders, Mayawala and Waigani Herons, with the top four to be confirmed soon.
The other men’s matches will see 8-Mile Plateau facing Elegant Spiders, Birdwings eying off Mayawala, Southern Flames doing battle with Waigani Herons.
