Port Moresby softball heads into finals

THIS weekend’s games are seen as must-win fixtures as the Port Moresby Men’s Softball Association heads into the elimination finals at Bisini on Sunday.
After the regular rounds, Defence are the minor premiers followed by Bears and reigning premiers Brown Eagles in pool A.
In pool B, Yokomo are the minor premiers, with Saints and Gazelle on their heels.
Defence and Yokomo have this weekend off.
The winners of the clash between the Bears and Gazelle will face off with Defence next week.
The winners of the match between Saints and Brown Eagles wake on Yokomo.
The winners advance to the preliminary finals and with the losers bowing out of the premiership race. The pressure will be on Brown Eagles to defend the premiership.
