The Coral Sea Hotels (CSH) has been implementing “Niupela Pasin” protocols and running staff vaccination programme in an effort to make its hotels a Coronavirus (Covid-19) safe environment.
The Steamships corporate affairs department, in a statement, on behalf of the Coral Sea Hotels, said its concierge team of Grand Papua Hotel and the Air Niugini Residence team in Port Moresby have both achieved 100 per cent vaccination.
It said the Coral Sea Hotels had promoted vaccination amongst their staff as the smartest and most efficient way of working through and managing the risks that Covid-19 can inflict on a business and people.
“Along with vaccination, the teams respectively have set the Covid-19 measures in place such as practising and reinforcing ‘Niupela Pasin’ protocols, daily toolboxes to discuss the Covid-19 statistics, symptoms and infection rates, the Covid-19 questionnaire for guests on arrival, hand sanitisers placed in public areas, ongoing cleaning and sanitising of premises, daily temperature checks and mandatory wearing of masks,” Steamships corporate affairs department said.
