Human capital

Letters

HUMAN capital is the knowledge and skill that people obtain from education, on-the-job training, and work experience.
You are building your own human capital today as you study at different institutions and you will become better when you complete your studies.
Formal education in schools, colleges and universities is a key source of human capital, but isn’t the only one.
On-the-job training adds even more human capital and constantly upgrades and updates a person’s skills.
Human capital expands over time.
Today in rich industrial countries such as Australia, almost everyone has completed a solid secondary education and has asophisticated appreciation of language, basic mathematics, and awareness and appreciation of the logical and scientific approach to solving problems.
And an increasing proportion of the population has undertaken tertiary education and obtained a high degree of specialised knowledge and skill.
