Imbonggu district authority presents financial acquittals

IMBOMGGU development authority (DDA) in Southern Highlands presented acquittals for four years to the district implementation and rural development on Thursday.
The presentation was done by Imbonggu MP Pila Ninigni, district administrator Pais Puk, district finance manager Tobias Wira and a few staff.
The acquittals are for 2017-2020, which covers the district service improvements programme, district support grants and public investment programme, Niningi, who is Inter-Government Relation Minister, said.
“The reports contain our achievements, projects, infrastructures and development, as well as our constraints on both financial and physical expenditure,” he said.
“Service improvement programmes are meant for funding development projects and services in the district to improve the livelihood of our people.
“We have done much in the best of our ability with the funds we have received so far over the course of four years.
“As the way forward, we promote progress, transparency and honesty in all matters of Governance, including finance.”
