Insurance firm appoints executive

CAPITAL Insurance Group chairman Michael Koisen has announced the appointment of David Lee as its acting chief executive officer.
Lee previously held the position of general manager and has extensive executive leadership experience. The Capital Insurance Group is the largest PNG-owned insurer operating in PNG and the Pacific.
It has overseas operations in the Solomon Islands, Fiji, Vanuatu and Tonga.
Capital offers a broad range of insurance products to serve the needs of businesses and communities in our chosen markets.
Koisen said the board of capital insurance group had full confidence in Lee’s ability to implement its strategy for business.
“The board members are confident in his ability, expertise and experience to lead the team at this important time for the group,” Koisen said.
Lee welcomed the opportunity to be a part of the dynamic team at CIGL.
