Investigate alleged corrupt dealings

Letters

THIS is a letter to the National Planning Minister Sam Basil to investigate a corrupt deal by two most senior public servants, using their position to allegedly defraud the State of K2 million.
Copies of the cheque (K2 million) were circulated on social media.
This is a serious case and one wonders why the minister responsible is so blind.
Is the minister turning a blind eye and allowing his officers to continue defrauding the National Planning at the expense of the taxpayer’s money?
Minister, wake up from your slumber and help fight the corruption at your department.

  • Issues of such nature often pop up with credible evidence but why is that the people who are supposed to execute turning blind eyes? Not only with politicians but all across the board. PNG hasn’t come to a stage where the worse will come to its worst stage and that will be the turning point for change. That is my own perception.
