Investigate tender process

I URGE appropriate authorities to investigate the recent disposal of well-maintained Commerce and Industry department fleet of Toyota troopers and double cab Mazda Bravos at K7,000 apiece.
It is much cheaper than any imported second hand vehicle from Japan.
All vehicles were placed on public tender by the National Procurement Authority and the bidders who bid at K20,000 missed out.
Something fishy is going on when it was disposed to senior officers.
If fight against corruption is the catch call of his government, can the prime minister direct investigations into such scandals as they may lead to bigger things.
