Kama heads Yandera landowners association

 MARK Kama has been elected chairman of the Yandera Landowners Association.

This was announced by returning officer Walter Mombi of the Electoral Commission after elections were held last Wednesday at Yandera village. 

Others elected were deputy chairman Pr Alois Buka, secretary Pr Philip Yombai, treasurer Joseph Yagama and public affairs officer Raphael Maminaka.

The Mineral Resources Authority commended the landowners of the Yandera project in Madang for electing their executives.

Acting managing director Philip Samar said the Government was happy that landowners would now have a voice to deal with on matters relating to their interests as stakeholders of the Yandera project.
