Kandep UPNG students yet to get subsidy

Letters, Normal

THE Kandep MP’s school fee subsidy policy is helping students from elementary prep to tertiary level.
However, Kandep students at UPNG have yet to receive their share.
The administration is allowing us to continue based on trust that Kandep MP and Deputy Prime Minister Don Polye will deliver his part.
School fee subsidy policy was a policy he adopted and it will pay off in the future.
As a leader with integrity and credibility, Polye must get rid of the subsidy committee which has not been doing its job as mandated.
The committee members must remember we are not politicians and we do not pose any threat.
We want to complete our education and do not want to be thrown out by the university administration.
Right now, the future of 85 students from Kandep is in jeopardy as we are already into the eighth week of the second semester.
