Karamui district rolls out projects worth K3 million

KARAMUI district in the Simbu province rolled out K3 million worth of development projects under the District Services Improvement Programme (DSIP) in Kundiawa last week.
Transport infrastructure and building maintenance projects were contracted to local contractors from Karamui-Nomane district.
Each contractor were awarded contracts valued more than K60,000 which they signed last Friday.
Karamui district administrator Joe Nopro challenged the contractors to be professional in their conduct.
Contracts  awarded were for maintenance on airstrips, rural police stations, classrooms, teachers’ houses, aid-posts, health centre buildings and clearing of roads.
