Kimi, Lakers bag K1000 each after winning finals

Kimi (men) and Lakers (women) received K1000 after winning their respective grand finals in Tabubil’s Gazebo Cup, according to Tabubil Soccer Association president Joshua Kayengkim.
Kayengkim said Kimi outplayed Yamildang FC to secure a 4-2 victory.
BRB FC finished third after beating Mobi FC 4-3.
In the women’s final, Wangbin Lakers edged Kisti FC 2-1.
Oksi proved too strong for Yamildang, earning to 4-3 victory to finish third.
Kayengkim said the runners-up pocketed K750, third took home K500 and fourth bagged K250.
Having completed the Gazebo Cup, Kayengkim is now looking forward to rolling out the Mineral Resources Star Mountain (MRSM)Cup which starts on Dec 19.
Kayengkim told The National from Tabubil that the MRSM Cup would be played over eight days, with the finals to be played on Dec 26.
The total numbers of teams expected to participate is about 48 across the men’s and women’s divisions.
