Lae firms back teams participating in schools rugby league comp

SCHOOLS participating in the Lae Schools Rugby League (LSRL) competition received apparel worth K40,000 from Prima Smallgoods and Lae Biscuit Company.
Igam, Tent City, Gantom, Omili, Markham Road, Haikoast, 4-Mile, Lae Secondary, Bugandi, Lae Community College, Busu, Malahang Technical and Bumayong were the receipients of the apparel.
LSRL coordinator Dennis Miall was happy with the support.
“I tried my best for the past 15 years and but my efforts have never been successful until today (Saturday) so this is a special moment for me,” he said.
Prima Smallgoods managing director Adrian Chow said he was happy to present the apparel to all the schools in the competition.
“Prima Smallgoods and LBC value your education,” Chow said. “So this is not just about rugby league but also your education.”
