MASTA Mak Rangers team face yet another major test in the Agmark Gurias on Sunday in Port Moresby as they prepare for the bemobile Cup finals  next week.
The major question going around is whether the Rangers are serious contenders or pretenders for the bemobile Cup.
With the end of the bemobile cup competition the top five positions have already been decided with Guria claiming the minor premiership, followed by Mioks, Lahanis, Rangers and Muruks.
The teams who are out of the top five for the last time display their current form to the national selectors for the up coming PM’s XIII selection and the Pacific Cup before they hang their boots for the season PNG ACTL Bombers will host a red hot Bintangor Lahanis in a double header in Lae while SBS Muruks try to consolidate their late season form surge when they take on a depleted Bintangor Eagles.
Meanwhile, defending premiers, SBS Mendi Muruks  take on the  Eagles  in a crucial match for them as they gRAdually pick up form for the defence.
In other matches, Toyota Miok’s coach Toksy Nama will have his Engans primed for a big showing at home in Wabag when the NCD Civpac Vipers make the unenviable journey to John Siki Oval.
For the Mioks, this match would be the perfect launching pad for their assault on the bemobile premiership.
Back in Lae the ACTL Bombers will look to end their 2009 campaign on a positive note after a hit-and-miss season while their opponents, the Bintangor Lahanis, will no doubt have their sights on a momentum building win heading into the finals.
