Proper foreign policy needed
THE West and China are focusing on the Pacific to expand their influence. Pacific island nations remain vulnerable to these two sides. Both sides are taking advantage of Pacific nations because of their power. I believe Pacific nations, especially Papua New Guinea, should devise a strategy to stand up to them. We should not allow them to control us and determine what’s best for us. We need a proper foreign policy to deal with such influences from foreign countries.
