Lift restrictions for gaming avenues

Letters

I HAVE seen friends working in the gaming industry suffer in the last four weeks of lockdown.
I urge the National Pandemic Response Controller David Manning to lift the restrictions so these people can go back to work.
Manning can advise their employers to enforce strict health measures.
We have schools opening today and we have parents working in the gaming industry.
How will they support their children?
They have other responsibilities apart from supporting their children.
Please consider them.
See the loss made by the National Gaming Control Board.
The board lost a whopping K30 million. Please lift the restrictions and ensure gaming avenues adhere to strict Covid-19 measures.

  • Gambling area like horse race/ bookmarkers venue should be closed. You will realise more people crowded in these hot humid stink environment sharing diseases.
